What To Do Before You Start
You have found the recipe you want to brew from, write up everything that’s going to be used, check that the things you are going to use is clean and working and make a list over what you need to buy. It’s a pain in the ass to stand a Saturday afternoon and there’s missing something when you’ve got started. Eventually make a description or a schedule, so you remember to put everything in its place.
Read carefully the descriptions on everything you are going to use. Unfortunately it is often so that the full description isn’t read until afterwards. A good preparation can save money errors and annoyance.
Write up everything that is put in and when it is in a notepad or on a card. If there is a problem, you only have to know what has been done. If the wine is good you only have to know how to do the result again.
A practical thing: Hang a plastic bag with the recipe and what to put in afterwards in the ferment vessel, so you know where it is when it going to be used.
